Split
After falling behind, FC Bayern ultimately won comfortably 5-2 against bottom-placed Darmstadt 98.
The tz notes for the game.
Darmstadt – After a short moment of shock, they still won confidently: FC Bayern turned around a temporary deficit against Bundesliga bottom team Darmstadt 98 and ultimately won confidently 5-2.
Jamal Musiala, Harry Kane, Serge Gnabry and Mathys Tel scored twice for the record champions.
This means that the gap to league leaders Leverkusen is at least temporarily seven points again.

individual review.
Manuel Neuer
Had two days off during the week to welcome his son Luca.
Of course, I still couldn't miss the mission in Darmstadt.
Saved against Honsak after a good quarter of an hour – important!
Had to stay awake afterwards - and was.
Trip to the sidelines in the final phase included.
Grade: 2
Joshua Kimmich
Joshua Kimmich has fond memories of Darmstadt – it was here that he made his professional debut for Bayern in 2015.
Of course, there is no longer a boy on the pitch, but rather an experienced man.
It took a while to find his way into the game, but he was the first to check Bayer Darmstadt's keeper's shoes.
Later he provided the preparatory work for the 2-1 with a cross worth seeing (not out!) at the best possible time before the break.
Grade: 2
Eric Dier
He is now far ahead of Minjae Kim, but not only played confidently.
A bad pass led to Darmstadt's great chance when the score was 0-0.
A bad header and a half-hearted tackle made it 1-0 for the bottom of the table.
Had to be treated longer in the second half but fought through.
Not up to par with the second goal either.
Grade: 4
Matthijs de Ligt
Was hugely praised by Thomas Tuchel the day before the game, but had some problems this time when playing with Eric Dier.
The defense didn't seem solid against the bottom team in the table.
Also careless when conceding the second goal.
Without any major blunders, but de Ligt has had much better days.

Raphael Guerreiro
This time he played again for Alphonso Davies, who was initially preferred against Mainz.
Moved a lot, but didn't appear offensively enough.
Unobtrusive and expandable.
Grade: 4
Aleksandar Pavlovic
He is currently somewhat ahead of his mentor next to him - because he is allowed to travel to the national team.
I wanted to promote myself again against the bottom of the table and strengthen my self-confidence.
He didn't succeed in everything either, but he stood out in the record champions' team in the weak opening phase and played a decisive role in the 1-1 draw.
He asserted himself strongly and, via a detour, Harry Kane served the goalscorer Musiala.
His working day ended abruptly when he had to leave the field after a collision with Vilhelmsson (57').

Leon Goretzka
Had to build up during the week - the non-nomination is eating at him.
Took on the more defensive role in midfield and played a lot from the back, but also had a few offensive moves.
A beautiful shot from 14 meters flew just wide.
Later more inconspicuous.
Note 3
Leroy Sane
He actually scored his last Bundesliga goal in the first leg against Darmstadt.
It's only logical that the next one should finally follow.
Fired the first shot towards the goal, but was repeatedly and decisively blocked.
He got really excited again at half-time, but he didn't manage to do much even after the break.

Thomas Müller
Fifth Bundesliga starting eleven appearance in a row – Müller is once again a long-running favorite.
In Darmstadt, however, he initially appeared with words rather than actions.
He was particularly upset after a whistle in the penalty area - and rightly so.
If referee Tobias Reichel hadn't called for a striker's foul, Bayern might have made it 1-0 in the first quarter of an hour.
He was later involved in a goal when he fed Musiala a throw-in to make it 3-1.
Grade: 4
Jamal Musiala
Has been involved in at least one goal in the last four games.
You could also see his confidence in Darmstadt.
The ball stuck to his foot as he dribbled, and it was no coincidence that he of all people managed to equalize.
Because Harry Kane missed Pavlovic's pass, he took it and sank it from a good ten meters.
It became even more worth seeing when he devoured four Darmstadt players before making it 3-1.
He prepared Serge Gnabry's 4-1 win.
World class!
Note 1
Harry Kane
Before the game, he had 30 goals - that was a personal record at Tottenham.
Failed in Darmstadt, first after a Guerreiro cross and shortly later on his own.
It all seemed a bit luckless, but then it started: First, Kane got an assist by failing to receive it before Musiala made it 1-1.
And then he scored with a flying header from Kimmich's cross.
There it was, the 31st goal.
More will follow - even if he had to leave the field in the 82nd minute after a collision with the post.
