FC Bayern is threatened with its first titleless season since 2011/12.
Bayern legend Paul Breiter blames coach Thomas Tuchel for this.
Munich – FC Bayern is threatened with a titleless season for the first time in many years.
This was last the case in 2011/12.
But now coach Thomas Tuchel's team is ten points behind leaders Bayer Leverkusen in the league, and the Munich team was eliminated early on in the cup against 1. FC Saarbrücken.
The title in the Champions League is still possible, Arsenal FC is waiting in the quarter-finals.
According to Bayern legend Paul Breitner, the reason for the drop in performance can also be attributed to Tuchel.
Paul Breiter names a problem at FC Bayern
When asked on the BR talk show “Ringlstetter” whether the players were full and therefore there would be a crisis, Breiter said: “No, not at all.
Just look at Harry Kane.
No player is playing particularly badly.” There is currently a situation at FC Bayern that perhaps some people would know from their job.
With a bit of humor, Breitner explained on the BR talk show: “You have a master, a boss, who gives you a hard time when you drive to work in the morning.
But: Everyone wants to do a good job and perform well.
At a certain moment you no longer notice that you can't do it anymore.
You want and want and it doesn't work.
That’s the big problem for me over the last few weeks.”

Paul Breiter is critical of the upheaval in the summer
But there is no need for a change in the summer.
Because FC Bayern has “a squad with 25 players, 20 of which are international class or even world class,” said Breiter, praising the Munich players.
“But if you don’t provide what an FC Bayern team needs first and foremost, namely a good atmosphere, then it will be difficult.”
It doesn't matter how much the players earn, they always want to perform well.
“Nobody wants to see a grade six or five in the newspaper the next day.
They never want to be brushed off,” explained Bayern legend Breitner.
A new rower will take over the helm at FC Bayern in the summer, and the search is already in full swing.
Apparently there have already been initial discussions with Xabi Alonso from Bayer Leverkusen; he is considered the bosses' desired solution.
But whoever is on the sidelines next season, the “good atmosphere” that Paul Breitner calls for may come back all by itself.
