Raphaël Guerreiro has suffered a muscle injury in his thigh.
FC Bayern did not announce how long the player would be out.
Munich – In the end it was the expected, clear affair for FC Bayern Munich.
Despite being behind, the German record champions won the Bundesliga game at SV Darmstadt 98 5-2 and thus consolidated second place in the table.
However, FCB had to pay dearly for the three points because several players were injured after the game.
FC Bayern announces Guerreiro's injury
“Raphaël Guerreiro suffered a small muscle fiber tear in his left front thigh.
The Portuguese will therefore not travel to the national team and will work on his comeback in Munich,” said a statement from FC Bayern Munich.
How long full-back head coach Thomas Tuchel will be unavailable was not mentioned.
The Portuguese started the game in Darmstadt and was substituted in the 71st minute.
Alphonso Davies came into the game for him.
The international break gives Guerreiro two weeks to recover from the injury and then potentially be an option for the squad again against Borussia Dortmund.

Star striker Harry Kane, however, suffered an injury to his left ankle.
The 30-year-old still traveled to the English national team.
The captain will be treated there by the team doctors “in close consultation with the FC Bayern medical department”.
The all-clear for Bayern player Pavlovic
The Englishman hobbled straight out of the stadium with a bad ankle after the victory at the “Lilien” instead of being celebrated by the fans who had traveled with him.
“It's a little painful,” said Kane, who has had to take a break several times in his career due to an ankle injury.

Aleksandar Pavlovic was given the all-clear.
After his minor head injury, the 19-year-old is available to the DFB team, FC Bayern announced.
“It’s nothing bad, thank God!
Only received an elbow.
So everything fits.
“Everything’s fine with my head,” Pavlovic, who collided with Darmstadt’s Oscar Vilhelmsson, said after the game.
