Christian Streich has officially announced the end of his time as coach of SC Freiburg; he will be leaving after the season.

At least as far as SC Freiburg, which is based there, is concerned.
While some clubs have had several coaches in one season in recent years, Christian Streich stayed as the first team coach for more than twelve years.

He still has around two months left before it's finally over.
Streich will be leaving Freiburg at the end of the season, as he announced in a video message on Monday morning (March 18).
Rumors were already circulating in the media at the weekend that the 58-year-old would not be extending his expiring contract.

Several clubs paid respect under the SC Freiburg post, including SV Werder Bremen, FC Augsburg, Mainz 05, Darmstadt 98 and Union Berlin.
