Aleksandar Pavlovic made it into the DFB team in a hurry.
But apparently FC Bayern's jewel remained undiscovered for a long time.
Munich – Last summer, Aleksandar Pavlovic was allowed to complete his preparation with the FC Bayern professionals for the first time – and he hit the ground running.
Due to a lack of alternatives and due to his ability, he immediately blossomed into an important player for the record champions in a difficult year for the Munich team.
National coach Julian Nagelsmann has therefore invited him to the DFB team.
But apparently the 19-year-old only came into the focus of the DFB late.

Due to his vertical start, the question quickly arose as to when he would wear the jersey of a senior national team.
Which one was not yet entirely clear, as Pavlovic could play for Serbia and Germany.
The Serbian association had already put pressure on him publicly and spoke of a “constructive” conversation with Pavlovic’s parents.
The DFB nomination for the last international matches before the 2024 European Championship was therefore eagerly awaited.
And actually: Nagelsmann brings Pavlovic on board.
“I'm not a coach who would talk anyone into the decision or nominate them because of it.
It is certainly not a 'political decision', as was recently written,” he said at the press conference about his decision.

DFB apparently didn't have Pavlovic on their radar for a long time
Pavlovic could still play for Serbia, even if he is used against France (March 23) and the Netherlands (March 26).
A player is only confirmed when he plays his first competitive game.
But the 19-year-old seems to have made up his mind.
“My plan was to decide between Germany and Serbia only after the European Championships.
“I had to make this decision immediately,” he is quoted in the

As
Kicker
writes in a report, the DFB hasn't been fighting for FC Bayern's jewel for long.
Apparently the German association only became active after there were indications from Munich.
At this point, Pavlovic is already a Bundesliga player.
In the end everything went well, after Can Uzun's decision not to play for Germany, the loss of Pavlovic would have been particularly painful.
