Stade de France incidents: Liverpool supporters will be compensated by UEFA

The European confederation announced this Friday that it had reached a financial agreement - the details of which have not been revealed - with Reds fans, after the incidents that occurred during the C1 final in 2022, at the Stade de France.


UEFA announced on Friday that it had reached an agreement with Liverpool supporters, who were demanding compensation, for physical and mental injuries caused by the incidents at the Stade de France, during the 2022 Champions League final in Paris.

The financial details of

“this complete and definitive agreement”

were not revealed by the body.

These upcoming compensations are in addition to the reimbursement of tickets that UEFA committed to making a year ago, after a damning independent report, which concluded that it was

“mainly responsible”

for the serious incidents that occurred.
