This had already become apparent.
Nagelsmann also foregoes some BVB stars.
Only Niclas Füllkrug is there from Dortmund.
Mats Hummels and Julian Brandt have to worry about their participation in the European Championships after they were not taken into account.
Update from March 14th, 2:30 p.m.:
National coach Julian Nagelsmann has made some changes to his squad.
In addition to the six newcomers, the 26 nominees also include some returnees.
Toni Kroos had already announced his comeback.
Robin Koch can also show himself again.
Update from March 14th, 2 p.m.:
As expected, Pavlovic is there for the first time.
Stuttgart's Mittelstädt, Anton and Undav can also prove themselves.
In addition, the best from Heidenheim and Beier from Hoffenheim made it into the squad for the first time.

The tension is rising.
The DFB squad for the upcoming international matches will be announced in around 30 minutes.

Update from March 14th, 9:14 a.m.:
The wait is over!
This afternoon the DFB announced its squad for the upcoming international matches.
A lot of information had already leaked out in advance.
So there shouldn't be any big surprises on Thursday.
From 2 p.m., national coach Julian Nagelsmann will explain in a press conference why he chose Aleksandar Pavlovic over Leon Goretzka, for example.
DFB squad for March international matches: With Pavlovic, without Goretzka
Update from March 12th, 6:59 p.m.:
Bayern's sports director Christoph Freund commented on the possible squad nomination of Aleksandar Pavlovic on Tuesday evening.
“If that’s the case, then it’s an award for him.
He has developed incredibly well.
He plays extremely consistently and with a high level of self-confidence - even in international games where there is a lot of pressure.
This is an award for us – and of course we are pleased,” the Austrian told
tz
and Sky, indirectly confirming the FCB youngster’s DFB appointment.
Freund also commented on the possible disregard for Leon Goretzka: “It's a shame because Leon has now made amends.
He is an absolute leader for us and has scored important goals again.
And generally performed well again.
But that is the team boss’s decision.”
Nagelsmann nominates DFB squad: Eintracht star is missing
Update from March 12th, 3:53 p.m.:
National coach Julian Nagelsmann is also apparently making some changes to the goalkeeper position.
Manuel Neuer and Marc-André ter Stegen will return to the squad for the upcoming international matches - Kevin Trapp, however, will be missing.
Kicker
and
Bild
report this
in agreement.
Accordingly, Fulham keeper Bernd Leno will be appointed instead of Trapp.
Particularly bitter for Trapp: In the last two international matches in November against Turkey (2:3) and against Austria (0:2), the Eintracht goalkeeper was on the pitch for the full 90 minutes.
Now he also has to worry about his place at the European Championships.
Update from March 12th, 10:27 a.m.:
Further information about Julian Nagelsmann's squad nomination on Thursday leaks out: As Bild
reports
, the national coach nominates Bayern youngster Aleksandar Pavlovic.
The at least as big a surprise: Leon Goretzka should not be part of the squad for the international matches against the Netherlands and France.
Only Niclas Füllkrug from Borussia Dortmund is said to be there, so Nagelsmann could exclude almost all of the German BVB stars.

DFB squad: Nagelsmann surprises inevitable
Update from March 11th, 5:22 p.m.:
Julian Nagelsmann's last squad before the home European Championship is taking shape.
Three days before the official announcement of the squad for the games against France and the Netherlands, the first names that are said to have made it into the DFB squad are now leaking out.
According to information from
Sky,
four VfB Stuttgart players are among Nagelsmann's chosen ones: Chris Führich's re-nomination was already relatively clear in advance.
With Deniz Undav, Maximilian Mittelstädt and Waldemar Anton, there should be three more Swabians in the squad for the March international matches.
The trio had been in the spotlight in recent weeks with some outstanding performances and thus earned their DFB debut.
Führich made his debut against the USA in October.
Julian Nagelsmann nominates DFB squad: First surprises apparently fixed
Mittelstädt's promotion in particular is as sensational as it is surprising: in the previous season he was relegated from the Bundesliga with Hertha BSC and wasn't even one of the permanent staff there.
At VfB he initially needed some time to get used to it before he really picked up speed in the autumn.
The national team is now the reward for the left-back.
Angelo Stiller and Atakan Karazor would also have been possible DFB candidates from Stuttgart.
But they don't seem to have made it into Nagelsmann's squad.
The two central midfielders are also having a great season, but have well-known competition in their position - for example Toni Kroos, Ilkay Gündogan, Leon Goretzka and whiz Aleksandar Pavlovic, who is also hoping for his first nomination.
Soon in the Germany jersey?
Maximilian Mittelstädt (l.) should be part of the next DFB squad.
Aleksandar Pavlovic (M.) and Jan-Niklas Beste also have good chances.

VfB block in the German national team: Kimmich right-back again?
With Joshua Kimmich there would be another central midfielder - but he is likely to play as a right-back at the DFB in the future, as he currently does at FC Bayern.
First report from March 11th, 10:50 a.m.:
Frankfurt – On Thursday (March 14th) national coach Julian Nagelsmann will announce his squad for the international matches in France (March 23rd) and against the Netherlands (March 26th).
One thing is already certain: He will not only rely on proven personnel.
Some players can hope for their first DFB call-up
In addition to debutants, there will probably be players returning after a long break.
Among them is a player from Eintracht Frankfurt.
Other players have drawn attention to themselves in the Bundesliga and can now hope for their first nomination.
VfB Stuttgart in particular is in particular focus thanks to their impressive season.
But even a newcomer and a young Bavarian can have legitimate hopes.
An overview:
Aleksandar Pavlovic (FC Bayern Munich):
In a disappointing season for FC Bayern, one man gives hope for the future.
Aleksandar Pavlovic was able to earn a regular place in the double six for Munich.
The defensive midfielder has already collected two goals and two assists.
Since the Serbian association is also courting the 19-year-old, Nagelsmann, according to
Bild
, would like to nominate him for the upcoming international matches and thus convince the DFB.
Hoffenheim's discovery has a lot of competition at the DFB
Maximilian Beier (TSG Hoffenheim):
The Hoffenheim player is also a whiz kid this season.
Last year he was loaned out to second division team Hannover 96.
This year he is the best German Bundesliga scorer after Undav.
So far he has only been used for the German U21s.
His problem could still be the great competition in the national team's offense.
Jan-Niklas Beste (1. FC Heidenheim):
He could create something new.
If nominated, Jan-Niklas Beste would be 1. FC Heidenheim's first German national player.
Last year he played in the second division and played a significant role in the promotion with his goals and assists.
This year, like his club, he is playing a very good role in the Bundesliga.
He already has seven goals and ten assists.
He could particularly help the DFB with his standard strength.
However, on March 9th, he revealed on
ZDF
that he had not yet had any contact with the national coach.
Eintracht Frankfurt's chef on the verge of a comeback
Robin Koch (Eintracht Frankfurt):
In contrast to Beste, Robin Koch was able to confirm contact with Nagelsmann.
According to his statements, a comeback in the DFB team after almost three years seems likely: “Yes, we have spoken.
I already know whether I'm there or not.
You will find out in a few days whether I will be there or not,” said the defensive man after the win against Hoffenheim, in which he scored himself.
Maximilian Mittelstädt (VfB Stuttgart):
He recently told SWR
that
he wasn't focusing on that.
Nevertheless, it is “a dream to play for the German national team”.
With his performances at VfB Stuttgart, he has definitely been in the spotlight.
Another advantage could be that no one at the DFB has been able to establish themselves in the left-back position.
Special case: Deniz Undav from VfB Stuttgart will make his debut
Deniz Undav (VfB Stuttgart):
Another Stuttgart player who could soon wear the DFB jersey is Deniz Undav.
The striker impressed with 15 Bundesliga goals and four assists.
With his style of play he would offer the DFB team a new element and complement Niclas Füllkrug.
Undav is a special case in this list.
His nomination is considered safe.
According to
Bild,
Nagelsmann has already promised him this.
