Washington Wizards Selling: Dedication Hats by Danny Avdia/washwizardsil
Danny Avdia recorded another great game tonight in his good season, when he led Washington to a 109:112 home victory over Toronto, thus improving the record of one of the weakest teams in the league to 58:13.
The Israeli of course started with five and finished with 22 points, 13 rebounds, 5 assists, a steal and a single turnover in 36 minutes.
No less impressive - even though he played alongside Jordan Paul and Kyle Kuzma, Avdia took the most shots on the Wizards and finished with 8 of 19 from the field (3 of 8 for 3, 3 of 6 from the free throw).
After a tight first half, the Raptors ran away to 70:81 towards the end of the third quarter, but Washington quickly came back, turned around in the last quarter (in which Paul scored 14 of his 18 points) and celebrated a rare achievement for them - a second victory in a row.
Lackluster Toronto is counting ten straight losses on the other hand.
Great game.

All the five Washington players scored 15 points or more - Rishon Holmes 15, Kuzma 16, Paul 18 (alongside no less than 12 assists - an unusual figure for him) and likewise Corey Kispert.
On the other hand, 31 points from Gary Trent did not save the Canadians.
