Eintracht Frankfurt currently has a trio on loan, but not all of the three professionals will stay beyond the summer.
Frankfurt – Squad planning for the coming season is in full swing at Eintracht Frankfurt.
With Nathaniel Brown (1. FC Nürnberg), Aurèle Amenda (Young Boys Bern) and
Krisztián Lisztes (Ferencvárosi TC) has already announced a trio as new additions, with more to follow.
The future of the players who are currently on loan from the SGE is not yet certain.
Donny van de Beek (Manchester United), Sasa Kalajdzic (Wolverhampton Wanderes) and Hugo Ekitiké (Paris Saint Germain) are only under contract until the end of the season.
Who from this trio will stay on the Main and who will leave the Adler again?
Eintracht Frankfurt wants to keep Ekitiké
Hugo Ekitiké
: The attacker moved from Paris Saint-Germain to Eintracht Frankfurt in the winter, but first had to work on his physical deficits.
The attacker hasn't scored a goal yet, but has already indicated what great potential he has.
Ekitiké is on loan and SGE has a purchase option for him.
During the Bundesliga game at Borussia Dortmund, Markus Krösche commented on the plan for the young attacker.
“It wasn't easy for him, he didn't play much at PSG and also had his fitness issues.
But he has caught up very well in the last few weeks.
There is a very high probability that he will stay with us in the long term,” said the sports director to the streaming service
DAZN
.
According to reports from the online portal
fussballtransfers.com
, the purchase option negotiated with Paris Saint-Germain is said to be between 15 and 20 million euros.
Sasa Kalajdzic
: He came to the Main with high hopes, but was seriously injured in the game against SC Freiburg.
He tore the cruciate and lateral ligaments in his right knee without any outside influence and will be out for an indefinite period of time.
This means that the attacker will not play any more games this season.

Eintracht Frankfurt: Van de Beek has not yet been the reinforcement he was hoping for
The loan ends in the summer and the Austrian returns to Wolverhampton.
It is impossible for Eintracht Frankfurt to sign Kalajdzic permanently after this serious injury.
It is the Austrian's third cruciate ligament tear.
After two in the left knee, this time Kalajdzic's right knee was hit.

Donny van de Beek
: The midfielder arrived from Manchester United with high hopes and was expected to take Eintracht Frankfurt's headquarters to a new level.
So far, however, the Dutchman, who was once considered one of Europe's greatest talents, has been disappointing.
After his crash at Manchester United, he was unable to build on his previous performance at SGE either.
If the 26-year-old doesn't improve significantly by the end of the season, a further signing is unlikely.
