A 2nd winner for a 2nd race.
After the success of the reigning double world champion Francesco Bagnaia during the first race in Qatar two weeks ago, it was his runner-up from last year Jorge Martin (Ducati Pramac) who won the 2nd GP this Sunday. the season in Portugal this Sunday.
Author of pole position, the Spanish driver took the lead at the end of the first corner and never left it.
José Mourinho, without a club after his ouster from Roma two months ago, waved the checkered flag in front of Jorge Martin who at the same time took the lead in the general classification.
Maverick Vinales, 2nd behind Martin throughout the race, fell on the penultimate lap.
It was therefore the Italian Enea Bastianini who finished 2nd.
In a race with very little overtaking, Pedro Acosto (KTM GasGas) once again put on a show with his spectacular riding, completing the podium.
For his 2nd race in Moto GP, the young 19-year-old Spaniard made a splash by brilliantly overtaking Brad Binder, Marc Marquez then Francesco Bagnaia to take a superb 3rd place.
After his 9th place in Qatar, the rookie confirms his ease on the handlebars and could be the revelation of the season.

The end of the race was animated by a collision between Bagnaia and Marc Marquez which ended in the gravel trap.
On the French side, Fabio Quartararo, world champion in 2021, finished in 7th place.
Johann Zarco finished in 15th position and collected his first point of the season.
As if to put the public in the pocket, Jorge Martin crossed the finish line celebrating his victory in the style of Crsitaino Ronaldo.
