Stéphane Lebrun is everywhere.
Bringing a coffee maker into the press room, setting up the podium on the playing area, or telling one of the more than 100 volunteers where to find medical equipment.
This former high-level table tennis player is the manager of the Nîmes-Montpellier table tennis Alliance, organizer of the French Championships in the discipline which are taking place this weekend in Montpellier (Hérault).
But he is also and above all the father of the two French ping prodigies: the brothers Alexis (20 years old) and Félix (17 years old) Lebrun, whose successes fascinate France.
Four months before the Paris Olympic Games, his father was once again able to see the enthusiasm generated by his brilliant offspring, crowned champions of France in the doubles competition this Saturday afternoon in a warm atmosphere.
Despite the excitement, Stéphane Lebrun knows, like his two boys, how to keep his feet on the ground.
