Dani Alvès very close to being released from prison.
The former PSG and FC Barcelona player paid bail of one million euros to get out of prison, the Barcelona court said on Monday.
“We inform you that the deposit of Daniel Alves' deposit has been recorded in the accounts of the 21st section of the Barcelona Court,” said in a press release this court, which had accepted last Wednesday the release of the player subject to the payment of this deposit.
The player appealed his sentence last month to 4 1/2 years in prison for rape.
As a reminder, Spanish justice withdrew his two passports, Spanish and Brazilian, so that he could not leave the country.
Dani Alves will have to report to the police station once a week.
Neymar's father issued a denial last week to deny having paid bail and assure that he would not do so.
