Always looking for a new employer, the 'Special One' advertises himself to media microphones around the world, and does not close the door to any project, even that of Saudi Arabia.
In an interview with Fabrizio Romano, a famous journalist specializing in transfers, José Mourinho gave his opinion on the Saudi project:
“Cristiano (Ronaldo), opened the door, and showed people that it was possible to go and live there, to enjoy it, to appreciate the development of a country which wants to evolve thanks to football.
Regarding him, he would not be against a trip to the Middle East:
“If you ask me in the future... You know, my experience has taught me that you should never say never.
But today, if you ask me 'why am I going to Saudi Arabia?', it's because I can enjoy three days, where I'm going to watch a boxing match, a Formula 1 Grand Prix, being with my friends.
But it’s not to sign a contract, because I still have time until the end of the season to make the right choice.”
The Portuguese also admitted to having received an offer:
“When I had this proposal, which was obviously very important financially.
I refused, AS Roma and European football were more important to me.
In any case, Mourinho seems determined to return to service for next season.
