The Ecuadorian national team is facing a huge scandal after its round of games in the United States, following the leak of videos in which some of the players, including the big star Moises Caísdo and the 16-year-old prodigy Kendari Paz, were recorded during a night out at a strip club in New York.
The disciplinary incident, following which the association is considering expelling the involved players from the national team, happened last Friday after Ecuador's 0:2 victory over Guatemala.
Caicedo, who was signed by Chelsea last summer in one of the most expensive signings in Premier League history, partied at the adult nightclub along with Piero Hincapia, Jeremy Sarmiento, Jose Sifuentes, Willian Pacho, Robert Arboleda and Gonzalo Plata, with the latter two seen in a dubious video alongside the player The other one who joined the party and this is Pass, who is a minor and according to the law was not supposed to be allowed to enter the club.

At the center of the affair is Arboleda, who was caught on camera scattering bills on a stripper who dances a twerk in front of him in minimal clothing, while on his right is the young Paz who was seen at the beginning of the video signing a shirt for a fan, before the fun went off the rails.
Arboleda added sin to crime when he responded to the first publications about the scandal and wrote in a story: "From now on, on my days off, I will spend my time reading the Bible, because a son is not allowed to even have fun." Plata, who previously collaborated with Sean Weissman at Real Valladolid, also provided a questionable response that was later deleted : "They don't like anything, having fun is bad."
In its official response to the incident, the Ecuadorian Football Association explained that the players were given free time on March 22 from 2:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., with everyone on time without exception.
"Photographs of acts that go against the values and principles that we uphold and promote as an organization have been distributed, and will be examined for the next call-ups to the national team. We reiterate and emphasize our commitment to soccer in Ecuador," the statement said.

The Minister of Sports in Ecuador, Andres Goshmar Tamaris, commented on the affair in an interview with local television and said: "I put most of the responsibility on Robert Arboleda. I talked to Candri (Paz) last night, he is devastated. He suffered a big blow emotionally. What I told him, as a person who loves Him, he is the one who learns from such mistakes and that he must not repeat it. Let him restore his image."
Paz, who will celebrate his 17th birthday this coming May, was marked as one of the greatest talents in Ecuadorian football and who should become a household name on a global level, after in April of last year he was also purchased by Chelsea for around 20 million euros, when he was 15 years old. Now, his involvement in the shameful scandal puts a big question mark on his future in the national team, as well as that of many other senior players.
