“The executive committee of the European Gymnastics Federation has decided to cancel the organization of the 2025 European Artistic Gymnastics Championships in Tel Aviv due to the current situation in Israel,” the body said on its website , while praising “the efforts made by the Israeli Gymnastics Federation, excellent host of several European Championships over the last 8 years.

The Federation specified that it had opened a new call for applications for the competition, initially scheduled for spring 2025. “We are reopening this event to members of the European Gymnastics Federation,” continues the body.
