A great tragedy was recorded last night (Monday) in Algerian sports, when a young footballer died from a foul he received during a match.
This is 17-year-old Wasim Jazar, who was kicked in the stomach by an opposing player, during a boys' match between his team Wadi Al-Maa and Amal Marwana.
Jazar collapsed to the turf, lost consciousness, and while the game was stopped, treatment did not arrive in time.
According to reports, there was no ambulance or doctors at the stadium, so the young footballer was rushed to the hospital in an ordinary car - where he was pronounced dead.
