Minister of National Security Itamar Ben Gabir once again provoked great anger among sports fans yesterday (Tuesday), after another provocative statement he made against sports fans in Israel.
After demanding the removal of the Bnei Sakhnin League due to the desecration of the national anthem, and after ordering the closing of the "Hail Shlomo" following a riot by Hapoel Tel Aviv fans, the minister was recorded attacking the Hapoel Tel Aviv fans and in an interview on the 13 network he made sharp remarks.
"The days are over that these anarchists, among whom are Hapoel Tel Aviv fans, are a protected nature reserve," said Ben Gvir, "the days are over when they curse the IDF and throw objects and almost kill - and nothing is done."
Member of Knesset Mirav Ben Ari (Yesh Atid* today read in the Knesset plenum the names of all the Hapoel Tel Aviv fans who were killed and murdered since October 7 - both in the attack and as part of the IDF operation in Gaza.

"A convicted felon who has confronted policemen and soldiers all his life dares to speak about Hapoel Tel Aviv fans," said Ben Ari, before reading the long list.
"All those Hapoel fans, boys and girls, right-wing and left-wing, were killed. It's not too late to apologize to the bereaved families who had to hear these insults on television."
