Germany defeated the Netherlands 2-1 in the second European Championship endurance test of the year.
The tz notes are a hit in Frankfurt.
Frankfurt – The DFB team continues to ride the wave of euphoria after their success over runner-up world champions France and also beat the Netherlands in the classic international match.
Even an early deficit didn't shake national coach Julian Nagelsmann's team.
A remarkable goal by Maximilian Mittelstädt and a curious goal by Niclas Füllkrug ultimately led to a deserved 2-1 victory.
Which DFB stars were able to convince against Holland?
The
tz
individual review.
Marc-André ter Stegen
Once again a shaky performance in the DFB uniform: when the goal was conceded, the goalkeeper fell quite sluggishly to the ground.
In the 19th minute he missed a shot from Malen and was unsure when going out in the second half.
Sovereignty looks different.
Grade: 4
Joshua Kimmich
Another good performance as a right-back.
Kimmich worked backwards in a disciplined manner and regularly joined the offensive game.
Note 3
Antonio Rüdiger
The central defender not only led the way against the Dutch in terms of tackling, he also shone with good passes in the build-up of the game.
Exuded the sovereignty of a defense chief.
Grade: 2
Jonathan Tah
When he conceded an early goal, he didn't cut a good figure in a duel with assist provider Depay.
After that, Tah found his way into the game better, anticipated headers and tackles well and took the tackle at the right moments.

Maximilian Mittelstädt
Light and shadow were close together for the Stuttgart player in the early stages.
Mittelstädt was responsible for the early 0-1 through an inaccurate pass to Tah, and the left-back showed his finishing strength in the equalizer.
As the game went on, he found his way into the game better and was one of the most noticeable.

It couldn't be better: Mittelstädt, who was partly to blame for the 0-1, managed to equalize early with a shot on Sunday.

Robert Andrich
His robustness is obviously good for the team.
In Frankfurt, the six-man impressed not only with his tackling, but also with his footballing skills.
Note 3
Pascal Gross
(from 58th minute)
He took on the role alongside Kroos no less confidently than Andrich.
Note 3
Toni Kroos
As the undisputed midfield leader, Kroos also ensured stability and structure on Tuesday.
In the first half he had 72 ball contacts and had an incredible pass rate of 99 percent.
Grade: 2
Florian Wirtz
The Leverkusen player didn't have an easy evening against the robust defensive players.
Wirtz took on every challenge and fought his way through, but was unable to build on his gala performance in Lyon.
Note 3
Jamal Musiala
He prepared the equalizer with a clever pass into the backcourt, and a short time later he brought Gündogan into a promising finishing position with a magic pass.
Musiala had to struggle with space and footwear and regularly slipped when starting.
Note 3
Ilkay Gündogan
As against France, the captain's performance dropped against the Dutch.
In some situations, Gündogan switched too late, his passes were sometimes rushed and therefore too imprecise.
He miserably missed the great chance to make it 2-1 in the first half.
Grade: 5
Chris Führich
(from 58th minute) Hit the ground running and brought a breath of fresh air.
Note 3
Kai Havertz
Unremarkable appearance, Havertz was virtually absent from the German game.
If he wants to defend his regular place, more has to come.
