There are signs of a surprising driver change in Formula 1.
Will former world champion Fernando Alonso drive for Red Bull in the future?

Munich – Fernando Alonso is a legend in Formula 1. The Spaniard made his debut in the premier class of motorsport in 2001 and became world champion in 2005 and 2006.
He is currently driving for Aston Martin, a midfield team with which he has no chance of winning another title.
But is a change to Primus Red Bull suddenly imminent?

, for which he works as an expert, that Red Bull is interested in Alonso.
“There are clear intentions to bring Alonso into the RB cockpit,” said the younger Schumacher brother.
He could replace world champion Max Verstappen, who could apparently leave the racing team in 2025 and move to Mercedes.
Red Bull team boss Christian Horner, who recently came under criticism, is said to have been a fan of the Spaniard for a long time.
According to Ralf Schumacher, the whole thing is more than just a thought game, "there are these rumors, and these rumors and information are pretty good." Sky asked Alonso about it at the last Grand Prix, and the Spaniard is said to have reacted very cautiously to the question.
“He said he was thinking about it,” said Schumacher.

talks have actually already taken place between Red Bull team boss Horner and Flavio Briatore, Alonso's long-time friend and manager.
However, it is unlikely that something has already been signed.

The 42-year-old is not planning to end his career yet.
“I think I might be able to ride for a few more years.

Alonso described Aston Martin as his first conversation partner, but at the same time he is aware of its attractiveness for other teams.
“There are only three world champions on the grid and only one of them is available in 2025,” noted Alonso.
