Berlin - The EM euphoria in Germany seems to have been awakened.
The German national soccer team got off to a perfect start to the European Championship year with a 2-0 win in France and a 2-1 win against the Netherlands.
Ukraine, Poland and Georgia are also the last teams to qualify for the major event.
The home tournament from June 14th to July 14th starts for the hosts with the group game against Scotland.

Can you still get tickets?
Most of the approximately 2.7 million tickets are already sold out.
Another major sales phase is no longer planned.
Admission tickets can be resold via a UEFA resale platform.
However, tickets will be issued again for fans of the teams that qualified through the playoffs.
“We strongly advise against purchasing tickets outside of official sales channels,” said the Bavarian Consumer Center upon request.
“The tickets are personalized and would first have to be transferred to the buyer.
In the worst case scenario, you won’t be allowed in on site.”
What mode is the game played in?
In addition to hosts Germany, 23 teams are playing for the European Championship title.
The last starting places were secured by Ukraine, Poland and Georgia via the playoff finals.
The teams play to advance in six groups of four teams each.
The two best in the group qualify directly for the round of 16, plus the four best third-placed teams.
Germany is placed in Group A as hosts and has to survive against Scotland, Hungary and Switzerland in the group phase.
In which German cities is the ball rolling?
The games are played in the ten cities of Berlin, Dortmund, Düsseldorf, Gelsenkirchen, Hamburg, Cologne, Leipzig, Munich, Frankfurt and Stuttgart.
The final will take place on July 14th at the Olympic Stadium in Berlin.
The opening game between Germany and Scotland will take place on June 14th in Munich.
The hosts will also play in the group phase in Stuttgart (June 19) and Frankfurt (June 23).
Where are the games broadcast?
Many of the games will be shown on free TV.
The public broadcasters ARD and ZDF share 34 of the 51 games.
Including all European Championship games of the German national team as well as the semi-finals and the final.
12 games will be shown live on RTL.
In addition, all of the 51 games will be shown on the pay TV channel MagentaTV.
MagentaTV has exclusive broadcast rights for five games, including four group games and one round of 16.

Is there public viewing?
There will be official UEFA fan zones in the ten venues.
Fans should be able to follow the games up close on large screens.
In Berlin, for example, a fan zone is planned in front of the Reichstag and the Brandenburg Gate.
In Munich, football fans can watch the games in the Olympic Park.
There will certainly be other ways to watch the games, whether in a larger group from the sofa or in a pub around the corner.
However, under certain conditions, organizers need a license from UEFA to organize public viewings.
What are the chances of the German national team?
The English and French teams are still at the top of the European Championship favorites list.
The 2021 European Championship runners-up from England confidently won the qualification as group winners without defeat, but in the last test matches against Brazil and Belgium they had to be content with 0-1 and 2-2.
Title candidate France started the tournament year with a 0-2 defeat against European Championship hosts Germany.
The French press wrote of a “lesson” for the 2022 World Cup runners-up.
Many bookmakers place Germany in third place on the favorites list, ahead of Spain and Portugal.
The last appearances of the German national team are fueling optimism.
Before the European Championships begin, the German team still has international matches against Ukraine and Greece.
