Leroy Sané is not allowed to take part in the international matches due to a suspension.

Nevertheless, he was available to answer questions, also about his future at Bayern.

Munich – In the first half of the season, Leroy Sané was the undisputed top performer at FC Bayern.

In the second half of the season, however, the offensive player struggled with a minor dip in his form.

There have also been repeated discussions about the 28-year-old in the recent past, as his contract expires in the summer of 2025.

DFB team: Sané condemned to watch

While the German national team wanted to use the last international break before the European Championship to prepare for the tournament in their own country, Leroy Sané had to pass.

The offensive player received a red card against Austria in November and was subsequently banned for three games.

Nevertheless, Sané visited his national team colleagues in Frankfurt on Tuesday before the game against the Netherlands.

As national coach Julian Nagelsmann explained, the 28-year-old should have even trained, but he was plagued by “minor aches and pains”, which is why he prepared for his return individually at FC Bayern.

Before the game, however, he answered questions on RTL, including about his future.

Sané's goal: CL final 2025 in Munich

Because Sané is one of many players whose contracts with FC Bayern expire in the summer of 2025.

Nothing is known about concrete discussions yet, but the 59-time national player revealed that he would like to stay at FC Bayern.

“We, my family and I, feel very, very comfortable at the club,” confirmed the Bayern star on the RTL microphones.

He also says he has a clear goal in mind.

“My goal is to win the Champions League with FC Bayern.

Next year we have a CL final at home, that’s a big goal,” said Sané about his ambitions for the German record champions.

Sounds like he would like to stay in Munich beyond 2025.

Sané believes Germany can win the European Championship

Before the game against the Netherlands, Sané was also asked about the German national team.

“The atmosphere here is great, everything is a little new.

The boys also said that the mood is great, Julian is doing very well,” Bayern’s number ten confirmed to the TV station RTL.

And he would also have a lot of confidence in the team in the summer.

“I have a lot of confidence in us.

We have to get going well.

It's fun to watch the boys and then soon to join in because we play good football," said Sané about the performance of the German national team.
