Will Leon Goretzka leave FC Bayern at the end of the season? Apparently the midfield star is being watched by a top Italian club.
Munich – Major personnel changes are looming at FC Bayern at the end of what may be the first titleless season since 2012. Seven stars could leave the record champions in the summer - including Leon Goretzka. There has been speculation about the 29-year-old's future for weeks. Apparently he is under scrutiny by the Bayern bosses.
There is probably no shortage of potential buyers. According to a report, Goretzka was recently observed live in the stadium - and played a strong game.

Representatives in the Allianz Arena: Juventus has Goretzka observed

, the Italian record champions Juventus Turin sent two representatives to FC Bayern's second leg of the round of 16 in the Champions League against Lazio Rome. The “Old Lady” scouts should primarily get a live impression of Goretzka’s performance.
In the 3-0 win against Juventus' opponents from Serie A, Goretzka was just as impressive as most of his teammates, although he also played in some unusual roles. When Munich built up their game, he often retreated into central defense and acted as a ball distributor. This ensured a lot of control of the game, but also prevented an additional goal threat at times.

It is not known whether Goretzka was able to convince the representatives with his performance. But the mere fact that Juventus is letting the player watch the player live at the Allianz Arena indicates a general interest from Juventus. However, Bayern have not yet received a specific request. It will be seen in the summer whether the Italians are serious about Goretzka and make an offer.

Goretzka has recently had good performances again at FC Bayern
This season, Goretzka was not able to convince in all games and was therefore not always in Thomas Tuchel's starting line-up. Recently, however, he was able to blossom again alongside Bayern youngster Aleksandar Pavlovic and was placed in the center of midfield. That's why it came as a bit of a surprise that Julian Nagelsmann left Goretzka out of the DFB squad. Even after Pavlovic's withdrawal from the DFB team due to illness, Goretzka was not nominated.
In order to jump on the European Championship bandwagon, Goretzka wants to continue to impress with good performances at FC Bayern in the next few weeks - and ideally in the coming season too. According to media reports, he is aiming to stay with the record champions in the summer. His contract runs until 2026 anyway. The new Bayern coach will probably also play an important role - whose plans will probably have a decisive influence on Goretzka's future.
