A great initiative on the part of FC Metz. On the occasion of the 27th day of Ligue 1 dedicated to the fight against racism in stadiums, Metz players will wear black jerseys showing country or regional borders and travel routes during the warm-up.
“To give birth to this very personal jersey, the players immersed themselves in their memories and experiences,” explains FC Metz on its website. They then put down on paper what was on their hearts. Based on these introspective texts and thanks to layers superimposed on a world map, each player was able to retrace their life journey. »

👀 This Saturday, the Garnets will wear unique jerseys during the warm-up.
🔙 Each jersey tells the family migratory story of the person wearing it.

On the Lorraine club's account France.
The jerseys were made in close collaboration with the Metz artist, Paolo Del Vecchio, and are part of the Home Residence project, carried out at the heart of the club at the Croix de Lorraine since the start of the 2023 season - 2024.
