Before the cup semi-finals at 1. FC Saarbrücken: FCK's relegation worries are increasing
After the 1:3 (1:0) against Fortuna Düsseldorf, coach Friedhelm Funkel's team slipped to 16th place due to Eintracht Braunschweig's 5-0 win against SV Elversberg. However, the new table situation did not worry Funkel before the cup semi-final at 1. FC Saarbrücken.
“There will always be slippage until the end. That's part of it. I am convinced that we will get the necessary points and stay in the league,” the FCK coach told the German Press Agency on Saturday.
