There was no let-up for Paris Basketball, 48 hours after its historic qualification for the Eurocup final. This Sunday evening, at the Adidas Arena, the capital club scored an 8th consecutive success in the championship, the 4th in as many matches in its new venue, by winning against Nanterre (102-68) on the occasion of the 27th day. Nadir Hifi's teammates (16 points, top scorer for his team) consolidate their second place in the Betclic Elite ranking, behind the untouchable Monaco.
An advantage of six points after one quarter, 11 points at the break then up to 36 points during the last period! Paris is indeed the team in the best shape of the moment in French basketball currently and Nanterre never had the hope of taking possible revenge after the defeat suffered at the end of February in the final of the Leaders Cup (90-85 ). Despite the 21 points scored by Justin Bibbins, the Hauts-de-Seine club was stifled by the Parisian defense after returning from the locker room.

The Paris Basketball players had heard the rant of their coach, the Finn Tuomas Lisalo, âabsolutely not satisfiedâ with âvery poor defenseâ at the break despite the advantage in the score. Nanterre, who had scored 28 points in the second quarter, was limited to 22 units over the entire second period! Offensively, Paris scored thanks to its gunners Tyson Ward (15 points), Collin Malcolm (15 points) and TJ Shorts (12 points).
Already qualified for the playoffs with 7 matches remaining in the regular season, Paris and Nanterre will travel to Le Mans and ASVEL on the next day.
