Luis Dias equalizes 1:1 in the match between Liverpool and Brighton/Sport1
The race for the championship in the English league continues to be hot and tight, and the three teams in the fight for the title know that every point is crucial. Just before the hot top match between Arsenal and Manchester City (18:30, Sport1) that will take place in London, Liverpool went to their match against Brighton in the 30th round today (Sunday) knowing that a win would take them to the top.

The last time Liverpool took to the field in the Premier League was on March 10 when they hosted Manchester City and ended in a 1:1 draw, a draw that served Arsenal who rose to the top. Klopp's team is still short, with goalkeeper Alisson, Alexander Arnold, Diego Jota, Andy Robertson and others still missing due to injuries, but Wataru Ando, Dominic Soboslai and Alexis McAllister are collaborating in the midfield and Mohamed Salah has been placed in the attack (first game in the team in the league since the -1.1), Luis Dias and Darwin Nunes. Joe Gomez came up as left defender and Connor Bradley started on the right side.
Remember, before going into the break, Liverpool lost a crazy 4:3 to Manchester United and was kicked out of the cup, so they cannot afford any more setbacks in the league and certainly not when they have the chance to escape when at least one of Manchester City and Arsenal will lose points today. However, she has to fear Brighton who have not lost against her in all four of their last meetings and in their last three visits to Anfield. Although Brighton are without their injured stars Caro Mitoma, Joao Pedro and Julio Anciso, they hope to surprise with Simon Edingara and Danny Welbeck.

As you remember, yesterday was a fascinating match day in England, when Newcastle turned a 3:1 deficit into a 3:4 against West Ham, Tottenham made their own turnaround with a 1:2 against Luton, Burnley squeezed a dramatic 2:2 with ten players at Chelsea and Manch Ster United messed up when they finished 1:1 against Brentford, with both goals in extra time.
