FC Bayern probably has to bury its last chance of winning the German championship this season. The Munich team lost the Bundesliga classic against Borussia Dortmund 1:2 (0:1) this Saturday evening and thus suffered their sixth defeat of the season in the league. This means Bundesliga leaders Bayer Leverkusen (73 points) are thirteen points ahead of Bayern (60). Munich-born Karim Adeyemi (10th minute) and Julian Ryerson (83rd) shot BVB to a victory in the Allianz Arena for the first time in ten years. Shortly before the end of regular time, Harry Kane scored another goal for Bayern - but the Englishman was slightly offside.

90th minute + 4: The game is over! FC Bayern lost the Bundesliga classic against BVB, which was their sixth Bundesliga game this season.
90th minute + 1: The hit doesn't count! Kane was centimeters offside when he finished. Initially it looked as if Can would cancel the offside in the middle. It was probably the tip of the foot. No goal for Munich - that's bitter on a wasted evening!

23rd minute: The chance! Strong attack from Bayern. Now let's play the game quickly. Müller quickly sends Kimmich. The national player crosses hard in front of the six-yard box, where Kane comes to head the ball. But: The Englishman surprisingly puts the ball next to the post - not into the Dortmund goal.
18th minute: Dangerous! Schlotterbeck wins the ball on the halfway line. Again the fast counterattack. 10th minute: Goal! FC Bayern - Borussia Dortmund 0-1, goalscorer: Adeyemi. The lead for BVB! Müller plays the ball sloppily at the halfway line and the Westphalians switch quickly. Schlotterbeck meets Brandt, who sends the nimble Adeyemi on his way. The Munich native shakes off de Ligt, Kimmich is far too offensive and cannot intervene. Adeyemi's shot at the far corner isn't hard, but Ulreich still can't hold onto the ball.
8th minute: Kane! After a chip ball, the Englishman heads the ball just over the crossbar. However, referee Osmers saw a foul by the striker against the Norwegian Ryerson.
7th minute: Bayern takes the initiative. Dortmund is very compact around its own penalty area and retreats far away.

Update from March 30th, 6:20 p.m.:
Return to the hometown: Dortmund's Karim Adeyemi is the only Munich native on the pitch. The 22-year-old outside attacker grew up in the southern district of Forstenried. Between 2010 and 2012 he was trained in the youth department of FC Bayern before moving to Spvgg Unterhaching (2012 to 2018) via TSV Forstenried in the suburb of the Isar metropolis. There will certainly be many of his relatives and friends in the arena today. The excitement is almost palpable, it's about to start in Fröttmaning!
Update from March 30th, 6:05 p.m.:
Kingsley Coman is about to make his comeback at FC Bayern. The 27-year-old Frenchman has not lost in any of his twelve appearances in the classic against Borussia Dortmund. There was a win eleven times and a draw once.
“I really hope that I can continue to build on these statistics at the weekend and that we will win,” the outside attacker was quoted as saying by the club media before the game: “It’s always a very special game, the classic in Germany. We will give everything.” Coman, who has been at the club since 2017, has been out for weeks since the end of January due to a torn medial ligament in his knee.

On the table it looks as if the Austrian Konrad Laimer will move to the six alongside Leon Goretzka. Experienced Thomas Müller starts in front of them. Eric Dier and Matthijs de Ligt once again form the central defense. The Frenchman is back in the squad for the first time after recovering from a torn knee ligament.

Update from March 30th, 5:25 p.m.:
My dear, that was exciting! Bayer Leverkusen turned the game against 1899 Hoffenheim in stoppage time. Until shortly before the end of regular time, the “Werkself” were 0-1 behind against Kraichgauer. But then Robert Andrich (88th minute) literally shoveled the ball into the net after a header assist from Jonathan Tah.
The national player didn't even hit the ball properly. Just three minutes later, striker Patrik Schick (90+1) scored the 2-1 winning goal after an assist from Nathan Tella. The Czech caused the BayArena to shake. The Rhinelanders are 13 points ahead of Munich, who face Dortmund at home in the evening.
Update from March 30th, 5:05 p.m.:
The balance clearly speaks for Bayern ahead of the top game this evening. The Munich team have won eleven of the last twelve Bundesliga duels against BVB. The only time there was a 2-2 draw in Dortmund was on October 8, 2022. Dortmund's last Bundesliga win against FC Bayern was on November 10, 2018. At that time, the Westphalia team won 3-2 at home against the German record champions. What's in it today? Ultimately, Borussia's goal is to qualify for the Champions League.

Bayer Leverkusen is wavering - at least a little. The Bundesliga table leaders are surprisingly behind 0-1 at home against 1899 Hoffenheim at the break. The up-and-coming German striker Maximilian Beier scored for Baden in the 33rd minute after a one-two with Wout Weghorst.
As a reminder: The “Werkself” have not lost a single competitive game this season. However, ex-Munich player Xabi Alonso's team dominated the game and should return to the pitch with a lot of steam from the dressing room. Immediately before the half-time whistle, VfL Wolfsburg also took a 1-0 lead at Werder Bremen.

FC Bayern against BVB in the live ticker: Several regular players are out
First report from March 30th:
Munich - When FC Bayern meets Borussia Dortmund in the Allianz Arena this Saturday evening (from 6:30 p.m.), both Munich and BVB will have to do without several regular players in the Bundesliga classic.
Specifically: World champion Manuel Neuer, shooting star Aleksandar Pavlovic, European champion Raphael Guerreiro and winter newcomer Sacha Boey are not available for Bayern today. Coach Thomas Tuchel announced this at the Munich PK for the top game.
BVB with injury concerns: Terzic has to do without Kobel, Sabitzer and Malen
Sven Ulreich will represent Neuer in goal for the German record champions. Dortmund coach Edin Terzic also has to do without his regular goalkeeper, namely the Swiss Gregor Kobel. The Westphalians are also missing the Austrian Marcel Sabitzer, who has been suspended, and, particularly bitterly, the very in-form Dutch attacker Donyell Malen.

First things first: The now 38-year-old Neuer, who had his birthday on Wednesday, has to fit in due to a slight muscle fiber tear in his left adductor. 19-year-old Pavlovic is suffering from tonsillitis. The Portuguese Guerreiro is recovering from a torn muscle fiber, the 23-year-old Frenchman Boey has a torn muscle bundle.
The 26-year-old Kobel was only able to play three of the last eight Bundesliga games for BVB. This time the Swiss goalie cannot take part due to stomach flu after he recently had muscular problems. Alexander Meyer represents Kobel.
