Summary: Hapoel Beer Sheva - Levski Sofia 0:0/Sport1
Journalists from Bulgaria say that "teams from Israel have expressed serious interest in Levski Sofia's goalkeeper, Flamen Andreev, but currently they expect to receive more than 4 million euros for him." According to reports in Bulgaria, Andreev is in the sights of teams from other leagues - more senior than the Israeli Premier League. His current contract will end in the summer of 2025 and if he does not extend it, Levski will probably have to settle for much less than 4 million.
19-year-old Andreev is considered one of the future footballers of Bulgarian football and he is serving as the first goalkeeper of Levski Sofia for the second season in a row. Last season he kept a clean sheet in 22 league games out of 33 in which he participated and was chosen as the "goalkeeper of the season" in the league. This season he kept a clean sheet in 13 out of 23 league games.
In 2022, he was ranked 22nd in the CIES list of the world's most promising footballers born in 2004, alongside names like Gabi, Vitor Roca and Yussupe Mokoko. Oskar Gluch, by the way, was ranked 32nd at the time, but since then he has broken out in a big way.
Andreyev played 180 minutes this season in Levski Sofia's pair of games against Hapoel Beer Sheva in the Conference League qualifiers, where the Bulgarians got past Eliniv Barda and his players with a 0:0 in Israel and a dramatic 1:2 in Sofia. In addition, the young goalkeeper stood between the posts of the young Bulgarian team when they beat Israel 0:1 in September in the Euro qualifiers.

In the past, Maccabi Tel Aviv acquired Frederic Raykovic when he was 20 years old and considered a promising young goalkeeper. The Yellows bought him for about 3 million euros in 2015 and sold him to Reims for about 5 million euros 4 years later. Today, Raykovic plays in Mallorca, Spain.
