Danny Avdia at Washington Wizards practice/WashWizards X account
Washington recorded one of its biggest victories of the season tonight (between Tuesday and Wednesday), when it surprised Milwaukee at home with 113:117. Danny Avdia was once again excellent as he received more minutes than any other player on the floor (39) and responded with 23 points (10 of 17 from the field, 0 of 5 for 3, 3 of 4 from the free throw line), 8 rebounds, 5 assists, and also a steal , loss and 3 losses.
Avdia, who also had the highest plus-minus rating on either team (+9), did a little bit of everything in the absence of Kyle Kuzma and Tyus Jones. After a tight first half, the Wizards jumped out to a 15-point lead with a 1:12 run in the third quarter, and all the Bucks had left to do was shrink, but the comeback was not complete and Milwaukee stands at a dismal 20:18 away record (28:47 overall).

Corey Kispert led with 27 points, Jordan Paul added 16 and a career-high 13 assists and that was enough for the 15th win of the season (along with 61 losses). On the other hand, Giannis Antetokounmpo reached a triple double already in the third quarter and finished with 35 points, 15 rebounds and 10 assists, but apart from him and Chris Middleton (24 points) no one really showed up.
