The decision does not go to Trabzonspor. The Turkish club received a six-match suspension after the scuffle which took place in its stadium on March 17. That day, after a 3-2 defeat to Fenerbahçe, its supporters entered the field and fought with opposing players. The scene was strongly criticized in Türkiye, but also in the rest of Europe.
This Wednesday on its X account (formerly Twitter), Trabzonspor strongly criticized the decision of the Turkish Football Federation: “You can keep your justice! Get up from your seats and resign! » The Turkish club was also fined two fines, totaling 90,000 euros. He considers his sanction unfair and that imposed on the players of the opposing team not severe enough.
