Summary: Lazio - Roma 0:1 (Italian Cup quarter-finals)/Sport1
Antisemitism in Italian football again, again in Rome, but this time not from the notorious Lazio fans - but rather from the direction of Roma fans. In the Italian capital, a series of anti-Semitic stickers have been distributed in recent days, ready to be distributed ahead of the derby.
An anti-Semitic sticker distributed by Roma fans: the symbol of Lazio next to Hitler and Benito Mussolini/screenshot, from social networks
The sticker features "Mr. Enrich", the symbol of Lazio's ultras, the Irriducibili, dressed in the uniform of a concentration camp prisoner. Next to him are Adolf Hitler and Benito Mussolini, seemingly catching him on the way to the extermination camp. The first is painted, while the faces of the two vilified leaders are taken from a photographed portrait. Both are wearing an old Roma shirt. In the background are the Auschwitz buildings and the famous gate with the inscription "Arbeit macht frei", work sets you free.
The anti-Semitic stickers, as mentioned, were prepared by a Roma fan, in preparation for the derby between Roma and Lazio to be played on April 6 at the Olympic Stadium. The distribution is linked to Roma fans who are members of neo-Nazi extremist movements.
This is not the first time that anti-Semitism has made headlines before the derby: 7 years ago the stickers with Anne Frank's face put up by Lazio fans at Curva Sud caused a scandal in Italy.

As mentioned, there is anti-Semitism among the fans of both teams. This comes a month after the fascist chants of both clubs. On March 4 in Munich, Lazio fans chanted fascist chants at the historic Hopperhaus, one of Hitler's symbols, including chants of "Duche". Two days earlier, a group of Roma fans was caught on a train in Milan singing the anti-Semitic song: "There are no Jews in Rome".
