More reassuring news followed during the day. The team boss, Ralph Denk, spoke to the German daily Bild and assured that his rider was not between life and death. “Lennard is fine, he can move, fortunately his life is not in danger,” he said. The accident apparently wasn't his fault. He allegedly collided with a car on a bend. »

Lennard Kämna began his season on the Tour of the Valencian Community at the beginning of February. He then followed up with a twentieth place on the Strade Bianche, before taking part in Tirreno-Adriatico. He reached 8th place in the general classification there. Scheduled for the Tour of the Alps, from April 15, he will undoubtedly have to skip it. His Tour of Italy is also compromised.
