Wade Baldwin is on a tremendous momentum, during which he swept Maccabi Tel Aviv to 17 consecutive victories in all formats and won the title of player of the month for March in the Euroleague thanks to an average of 18.4 points, 4 rebounds, 4.6 assists and 1.4 steals in the weeks in which the Yellows won five of six games in the factory.
Recently, Kendrick Nan of Panathinaikos was interviewed by "Eurohops" and claimed that he is "the best offensive player in the Euroleague", but Baldwin thinks otherwise and was not afraid to say in response: "You can't say you are number 1 if there are players around you with better statistics."
Now, when "Eurohoops" published Baldwin's words on social media, Nan chose to respond to it on their Instagram page: "The media team is doing a good job of stoking the fire. I don't want to get into an argument with someone who averages three points per game in his career."
It should be noted that Baldwin has a better shooting percentage than Nan, 57 compared to 53 - and there are players with a better average of their own - but Nan is also not wrong when it comes to Baldwin's average in his short NBA career which is 3.1.
