TSV 1860 against Viktoria Köln: Who will win?
The 32nd matchday is coming up in the 3rd league and TSV 1860 Munich welcomes Viktoria Köln. The Lions lost 1-0 to bottom team SC Freiburg II on the last matchday. Head coach Argirios Giannikis' team conceded the goal of the day in the 71st minute through Luca Marino. In the table, TSV 1860 is now six points ahead of 17th place, which would mean relegation to the regional football league.
After a torn muscle fiber in the adductor area, captain and defense chief Jesper Verlaat made his comeback. But in the final phase he of all people headed a cross at the feet of Marino, who sent the ball into the goal with a brilliant shot.

“We didn't have enough phases of the game in which we had control, made too many mistakes when we had the ball, and sometimes played into the opponent's press. After conceding the goal, we were headless in the last 20 minutes. We simply weren't good enough to get around a pressing team like Freiburg. If we managed to do that, then we had opportunities in the final third. Unfortunately, we often played too awkwardly and made too many simple mistakes," Löwen head coach Giannikis was quoted as saying on the club's own website after the defeat. (
