Pole player Carl Morris's nickname is "Houdini", after one of the most famous magicians ever, and after you see what he did this week - you'll understand why.
The 47-year-old Morris provided the "move of the century", as the network described it: in a match against his opponent Scott Gillespie, Morris was stuck in the corner, when the chances of reaching his last red ball seemed impossible - but then he provided the following unimaginable magic:
The network tried to reproduce the rare move - and failed, of course
The broadcasters had a hard time believing it, and even Morris admitted that it was a "one in 10,000, maybe one in 100,000 hit". The magician added: "I've had some extraordinary hits in the three decades I've been playing, but I've probably never done anything like this."
