The Bayern coach on the Heidenheim game: “We have to show a reaction. We have to tighten up again, stretch out again. The important thing is to win. David versus Goliath awaits us tomorrow. It’s an emotional stadium and a team that has absolutely nothing to lose.”

Munich - Disillusionment spread on Säbener Straße after the defeat against Borussia Dortmund. Thomas Tuchel's team was unable to continue the upward trend before the international break - but fell into a small hole again due to their poor performance.
Both Tuchel and Thomas Müller have written off the championship; the gap to league leaders Leverkusen is 13 points. The main thing against 1. FC Heidenheim is to build up momentum again for the important Champions League quarter-final against Arsenal FC.

another run on Thursday on the way to his comeback. Coach Thomas Tuchel can announce his plans for Neuer at the obligatory press conference this Friday (11:30 a.m.).
Neuer tore his adductor muscle while playing for the national team and therefore missed Saturday's Bundesliga classic against Borussia Dortmund (0-2). Neuer definitely wants to be there for the last chance to win the title in the premier class, with the quarter-final first leg in London on Tuesday. If necessary, he would forgo playing in Heidenheim if it would jeopardize his participation against Arsenal FC.
