The Kevin De Bruyne festival
There are not enough superlatives to describe Kevin De Bruyne's match. The Belgian literally carried Manchester City on his shoulders this Saturday afternoon against Crystal Palace (2-4). The playmaker first stood out by equalizing with a splendid, powerful right-footed shot in the penalty area (13th). Then, we saw him in his best role, that of passer, for Erling Haaland shortly after the hour mark (66th). Finally, he allowed his team to increase the score, and to have a quiet end to the match, by firing a dry left-footed shot at the entrance to the penalty area (70th)... An achievement which he allowed us to reach the hundred-goal mark with the Skyblues! Two goals, an assist...Magic (as always!).
Erling Haaland finds the net again
He hadn't scored in the Premier League for four matches... an eternity for a striker of this caliber. Erling Haaland found the net again this Saturday afternoon in the Citizens' big success against the Eagles. The Norwegian, little in sight and successful during a large part of the match, scored the
break
goal on a clever cross from Kevin De Bruyne from the outside of the right foot (66th). This achievement should do the “Cyborg” good, a few days before an important confrontation in the Champions League against Real Madrid!

Flops
Eberechi Eze transparent
He is without a doubt Crystal Palace's most talented player. But this Saturday afternoon, that didn't show. The Briton, lined up in support (left side) of Jean-Philippe Mateta, had absolutely no influence on the meeting. He made no difference with the ball, as he knows how to do so well. This is also why Oliver Glasner decided to take him out shortly after the hour mark (64th). A match to forget for the attacking midfielder.
Josko Gvardiol too little reassuring
Established on the left side of the Manchester City defense, Josko Gvardiol was not completely reassuring this Saturday afternoon. If he was rather comfortable, as usual, with the ball at his feet, he had more difficulty in the physical duels. He almost gave Crystal Palace a penalty in a duel with Eberechi Eze in his penalty area, just before the break (44th). And in the process, he was warned of a yellow card, after an illegal intervention behind the back of Jordan Ayew (45th + 2). Pep Guardiola didn't want to take any risks and decided to take him out at the break.
