Passing the pavement is not rolling in gold. We cannot say that the Queen of the classics, whose 4th women's edition (this Saturday from 1:35 p.m.) and the 121st men's edition (this Sunday from 11:10 a.m.) will be contested this weekend, covers her subjects and topics in gold up to the sacrifices that the latter will make on the cobblestones of the north.
For men (259.7 km, 55.7 km of paved sectors), the 2024 allocation remains unchanged compared to the previous year. Sunday evening, the winner will receive 30,000 euros, the 2nd 22,000 euros, the 3rd 15,000 euros, the 4th 7,500 euros, the 5th 3,200 euros (then from 1,700 euros for the 6th to 500 euros for the 16th, 17th , 18th, 19th and 20th). The overall total of prizes distributed during the men's event is 91,000 euros.
🪨 Irregular, brutal, tiring, riding on the cobblestones of #ParisRoubaix requires a very special technique.

For women (148.5 km, 29.2 km), prices have not changed much since the spectacular revaluation of 2022, which saw the victory bonus jump. This year, the winner will receive 20,000 euros, the 2nd 11,000 euros, the 3rd 6,000 euros, the 4th 3,000 euros, the 5th 2,500 euros (then from 1,500 euros for the 6th to 200 euros for the 16th, 17th , 18th, 19th and 20th).
Specific to the women's race, an NTT prize of 1,000 euros will reward the competitor "the most generous in the effort and demonstrating the best sportsmanship". A jury chaired by the event director establishes a list of runners based on the progress of the race. From this list, users of X (ex-Twitter) vote during the event for the most combative competitor on the official race account.
