FC Bayern reaches another low point. A premature separation from coach Thomas Tuchel no longer seems to be ruled out.
Munich/Heidenheim – The fact that Thomas Tuchel once again had no explanation for FC Bayern's performance in the second 45 minutes so soon after his team's game at 1. FC Heidenheim on this Saturday afternoon probably came as a surprise to very few people.
It wasn't the first time this season that the coach was surprised by his team. In a negative sense. And as is so often the case, Tuchel didn't know how to justify his team's lack of performance after such a performance.

Is Tuchel flying immediately? Eberl draws a possible scenario
Of course, after such a game, the question about the coach is asked. Unsurprisingly, the two people in charge had to answer the question of whether Tuchel would also sit on the bench at Arsenal FC on Tuesday in London. While Freund expressed 100 percent trust, Eberl at least gave the Bayern coach a job guarantee until after the Cologne game.

“It’s not football to throw the coach out before Tuesday,” said the 50-year-old on Sky after the game. However, Eberl qualified: “It’s definitely going into the next few weeks.”

It doesn't seem to be foreseeable whether Tuchel will still be on the bench in the season finale. “I know the question comes now, but I can’t answer it conclusively,” said Eberl: “We have to make sure we reach the Champions League. But it is completely clear that he will be on the bench on Tuesday and against Cologne on Saturday.”
What else can Eberl say? He must protect the interests of the club. After two defeats in a row, they run the risk of actually losing qualification for the Champions League after a catastrophic second half of the season. If things actually get dicey again in this regard, those responsible would logically have to react.
Tuchel out at FC Bayern? For Hamann, a dismissal would come “six weeks too late”
In plain language: If the Arsenal team shows no reaction and Tuchel also loses the game against Cologne next Saturday, his time at FC Bayern could end earlier than actually planned. The lead over fifth place is currently seven points, with BVB currently tied with RB Leipzig on 53 points.
