She was close to ending her wonderful university adventure with a title. But on Sunday evening, the rising star of American women's basketball, point guard Caitlin Clark, lost in the NCAA final. His Iowa Hawkeyes were beaten by South Carolina (87-75).
Young Caitlin Clark, 22, became a role model for many young Americans during her university years. Spectacular, often compared to Stephen Curry, she impresses with her style of play and attracts crowds. Last week, the spectator record for a university women's basketball game was broken as 12.3 million people watched the team's victory against the LSU Tigers.

This Sunday in the NCAA final, she scored another 30 points, accompanied by 8 rebounds and 5 assists, even if she lacked marksmanship (10/28). But she was nevertheless praised by her partners, and acclaimed by the public in Cleveland, where the Final Four was being played.

Caitlin Clark played her last college game against South Carolina, before joining the professionals in the WNBA. The American could even participate in the Paris Olympic Games this summer. No official list has yet been revealed, but the playmaker has already confided that she would be delighted to take part.
