In difficulty after its defeat against FC Barcelona in the quarter-final first leg of the Champions League (2-3), Paris Saint-Germain travels to Montjuic next Tuesday with the ambition of reversing the trend and qualifying for the final four of the competition.
And to do this, the capital club will be able to count on the presence of some 3,000 of its unconditional supporters to make their voices heard in the Olympic stadium.
If the visitor's stand at the temporary FC Barcelona venue normally accommodates a maximum of 2,800 spectators, 200 additional places have nevertheless been granted to Parisian supporters. A boon for the Collectif Ultras Paris and its supporters who had already numbered 1,850 during their team's victorious trip to the round of 16 against Real Sociedad (1-2).
During the first round on Wednesday evening, despicable acts took place in the stands of the Parc des Princes. On the sidelines of their team's victory, Catalan supporters were filmed insulting Parisian fans as "monkeys" and making Nazi salutes. Videos broadcast on social networks which allowed the identification and arrest of two of them by the police after the meeting.
The Parisian club subsequently decided to take action and file a complaint three times, a first time for glorifying war crimes, a second for public racist insult and a last time against at fault.
