After starting on the right foot in the lower playoffs, with an away victory over Maccabi Petah Tikva, M.S. Ashdod hosts Maccabi Netanya for a game that has become critical for both teams. After Hapoel Tel Aviv stumbled dramatically last night against Hapoel Petah Tikva, Ashdod knows that a victory will lift them above the red line and greatly complicate Netanya, which is only three points ahead of its rival on the eve of the game.
