Emmanuel Macron will put on his crampons again. Three years after putting on the Variétés Club de France jersey in October 2021, the President of the Republic will leave for a tour next Wednesday.
The Variétés Club de France is once again organizing a Gala match for the benefit of the Yellow Pieces in the presence of Brigitte Macron and Didier Deschamps, sponsor of the operation. The President will take part in the meeting according to information from RMC Sport which we are able to confirm. The match will be played in Plaisir, in Yvelines.
A second goal for Macron?
As usual, Emmanuel Macron will not be the only personality present for this match. Football legends are expected like the 1998 world champions Laurent Blanc and Christian Karembeu. Former Arsenal coach Arsène Wenger should also be present like his former player Robert Pirès. On the whistle, we will find Stéphanie Frappart, the first woman to referee in Ligue 1. Mamadou Niang, Daniel Van Buyten and Frédéric Piquionne should also be there to support the President.
For his first match in October 2021, the tenant of the Élysée faced a team made up of caregivers from the Poissy/Saint-Germain-en-Laye intercommunal hospital center. A meeting during which he scored a goal from a penalty, while he was lined up number 3 behind, in midfield with Rudi Garcia, former coach of Olympique de Marseille, and Alain Giresse, ex-international French, also present this Wednesday. And a small third half was then organized at the Élysée.
