Munich – Relegation is still not in the clear. However, TSV 1860 Munich can now look at the table a little more relaxed after the home win against Viktoria Köln and the strong draw in Regensburg. With a win against Saarbrücken, the Lions could potentially ensure planning security today. But in preparation for the match day there was bad news for the Giesingen team and the alarm was also raised in the stands.

In Regensburg, Fynn Lakenmacher was allowed to play for Lions coach Argirios Giannikis' team from the start. And the 23-year-old repaid the coach's trust. It can be questioned whether Giannikis continues to rely on a permanent departure like Lakenmacher. Because for 1860 Munich it's hardly about anything this season - it would have to be the devil if the Lions were to slip into the relegation zone. It is therefore quite possible that the outgoing striker will now have to accept the role of a reserve.

When it comes to squad planning, those responsible for the Lions had to accept a setback. But warning words from the fan camp published on Thursday (April 18th) are unlikely to have caused a storm of enthusiasm on Grünwalder Strasse.
In an Instagram post, the “Lion Fans Against the Right” problematized right-wing extremist symbols that had been seen “increasingly again on recent match days”. These include various variations of the swastika and various numerical codes from the right-wing extremist spectrum. In fact, some of these symbols were clearly visible in the away block during the away game in Regensburg. There has not yet been a statement from the association as to how and whether they want to address this problem. (
