Finally in September! It's not so hot anymore, not so crowded anymore, not so expensive anymore. For my taste is now the optimal time for cycling and hiking tours. And a good time to check mobile technical equipment for outdoor suitability. These travel gadgets have convinced me.
Smartphone power from the sun: Hiluckey Solar Powerbank
For hiking and biking the smartphone is always there. But not every campsite has easy-to-reach 230-volt sockets, certainly not on the tent meadow. Chargers with solar cells have in my experience in the past ten years, much better.
A power bank like Hiluckey with a capacity of 25,000 milliamps is enough for my requirements (two devices to load, one-week tours) completely. They can be recharged while driving or hiking by opening them and attaching them to a backpack or saddlebag. Rain or dust does not seem to affect the device. Practical: A flashlight is also on it.

Reading under the blanket: Opard Clip Light
Dicke Schmöker take on an outdoor tour? Not my thing. There are e-book readers. My model is already a bit old and therefore has no background light like the new Kindles. Instead of trying the bulky powerbank torch for this purpose, I cling in the evening to the small and lightweight USB reading light. It also offers an extra advantage to users of "real" books: it's so flat that it can be bookmarked between pages.
Interesting for: Lesejunkies, for whom the darkness always comes too early.

Gently throw six- and eight-legged out of the tent: Snapy
"Ieeeeeeeeeee, do it !!!" Not every outdoor friend is also a fan of spiders, wasps, grasshoppers or other animals in the tent, on the mattress or in the still unused coffee mug. I openly admit to being squeamish too. If you feel the same way, I really want to recommend Snapy to you - a gadget without a battery, Bluetooth or WLAN. It allows contactless transmission of the troublemaker in a more appropriate environment. If you gently push the transparent flap, you can even do so without injuring the animal. Bicycle helmet with light and headset: Livall LBH 51M
I'm not really a helmet type, I prefer to blow the wind around my ears while cycling. But if I can look like Robocop with the headgear and get some smart features, I'm also ready to be sensible. In addition to the design I liked the Livall LBH 51 M's turn signal function, which looks like a modern Audi from the rear. The turn signal is activated by a small remote control on the handlebar.
Really useful: With a helmet integrated into the headset you can pair your smartphone via Bluetooth and make phone calls or Navi announcements can be imported directly. For the city of Hamburg, the small speakers are just loud enough - once you have left the city behind, the set works great. The helmet is as easy to adjust as a Uvex, but is a little heavier and not necessarily suitable for strong sun because of the narrow ventilation openings. But then you do not see the great lighting effects anyway.
Interesting for: technically savvy helmet muffle.
