Changing world order, chaos, and panic among some car makers have made me sit down on the keyboard to elaborate on the steps that led to the development of electric energy storage technology, how to make it more efficient, cheaper and more accessible, how to reduce the steps of those who pollute on the roads, and more liberal with those who emit At heights (power plants, industrial, etc.). But since already in the first paragraph I had put myself to sleep, I deleted everything and my fingers had to recalculate everything.

So let's start as big as possible. Most of the world is divided into two divisions: those who see electric models as separate models, such as the Volkswagen and Toyota group, and those who consider the electric / hybrid power unit as another engine type from the existing gasoline and diesel supply. Not a dedicated electric car, but if a car sells with another engine selection option, at least until the electricity remains the only choice on the shelf, or next to the next hot thing. In the case of the DS3 Crossback this is a small crossover that competes in the category of Audi Q2 for example. It uses the new CMP platform - just like the "regular" version that was the first to use. This modular platform is pre-designed to also contain electric propulsion, so the supply of electric models is expected to expand with every other model based on this platform, such as the electric 208 we tasted two months ago. The electric version is completely identical to the "regular" versions.

This is true of the exterior carvings, interior curves for most assemblages, and the fixture list. So where are the differences? First in the existence of batteries. The DS3 Electric Crossback has a thium-ion battery with 216 cells in 12 enclosures (so they can be replaced individually) housed under the front seats and under the back seat (instead of the fuel tank). My route took 100 km total. The duration of charging from a home outlet will take 8 hours (8 amps), and two hours from a fast charging position (32 amps).
