Years after Apple integrated it into the Macs, Microsoft announced that the phone calls on the computer were also coming to Windows and now it was finally happening. The new feature will be added to computers very soon, as part of the "Your Phone" app that Microsoft has been offering for a long time on Android devices. The app already allows Android users to see and respond to messages and notifications they receive on their smartphone, on their computer screen. It runs on smartphones running Android 7.0 and above, and of course, provided that the device is connected to a computer running Windows 10. The update came to computers in parallel with another update, which allows users to use pen on touchscreen computer monitors to control the smartphone while in screen mirroring mode. As mentioned, Microsoft's new update is very similar to what has been around for some years now on Apple devices, the continuity feature, and in fact makes the switch between computer and smartphone a part of the day for users, enabling continuous work between your Android and your PC.

Here's how to use the new function

To activate the new feature, first download the "Your Phone" app from the Google app store. Then, if you are running Windows 10, enter the app store by searching "Microsoft Store" on the start screen, and download the same app from there. If you're already using the app, make sure you're up to date with the latest version. Then, connect your computer and smartphone according to the onscreen instructions. Finally, all you have to do is try and see if you can see the alerts, and now the calls, from your smartphone on your computer as well.
