The break in De Weiss that left her scared and giddy, the decision to move closer to religion, the desire to hear more women create and the dream of children: Just after a new song and a moment before a big show in Tel Aviv on 6.2, Yuval Dayan talks candidly about the musical change she has undergone and dealing with anxieties. After a long time when she did not release a new song, the musician Yuval Dayan released a new song a month ago which she wrote and composed called "Who likes?". The song is the first swallow from Dane's wider collaboration with the fascinating musician Tamir Muscat, who produced the song for her musically. Interview at Walla Studio! NEWS acknowledges Dayan that working with Muscat definitely heralds a change of musical direction for her: "Tamir has something that gives the artist the courage to go to the next level and say things more emphatically. The music I made in the past is associated with something more fragrant, heavenly, which is a part of me, but I have Also another, more dominant side of saying things in the face directly, and always directing me there. After he rejected a song after my song, when I sent him the song "Who likes?" - he immediately told me 'Wow, this is a song I feel you "Tell him what you really want to say. There is magic in him, and then it all happened."

On February 6th, you will perform at Hangar 11 in Tel Aviv as part of the Zappa GoldSutter Soundsystem Festival and return to the album "My Heart Awake". Looking back, what was it about this album that caught the audience so much?

"This album came out when I was 21-22. I started the road at age 16-17, which means that at age 21 I felt that I had developed on two levels at the same time: both as a musician - that is, as a writer and composer - as well as as a person. It is impossible to separate an artist's life from his musical work, It affects each other. I think I felt more comfortable then standing on stage, and more behind this singer-songwriter, one of a songwriter and that's what made this album a good album. "

It is not a natural thing, but at the same time there is a lot of blessing, and it is very exciting. You meet people, and receive reactions and hugs, And in the end, as we speak around us, people who would dream of being around

Your big advertising in De Weis actually happened overnight. How did it affect you as a young person?

"I think it kind of alarmed me at first. I mean, I didn't think it was going to happen. I didn't expect that kind of thing, you walk down the street and everybody talks to you about your audition and it has a lot of YouTube views and it becomes such a viral. Distance, the manager, suddenly everyone is just talking about it. I'm a little paralyzed, I admit. In the end you realize, 'Okay, I got some voice, some talent, and how I use it to do better here overall.'

How do you maintain that success doesn't come to a head?

"Who told you I didn't get to my head? (Laughs) Listen, all of life prepares us for what happens if God fails, but no one tells you what happens when they succeed. But that's exactly when home-schooling comes in. My parents always told me "We're always here, we support you."

And your retirement a moment before the De Wise final was part of this story of 'let's calm down'?

"Totally. I felt like someone was pulling the ground underneath me and I couldn't keep up. I mean, it's something you also have to learn - how to get love, how to get all that sympathy and stay sane, steady and tidy on the ground."

And is your approach to religion also part of dealing with stress and fears?

"The spiritual interest in music and Judaism is quite similar in frequency. I feel it is part of a world of values that interests me, and, no doubt, there are things in this world that keep me and the tools of dealing with the great things very young at a very young age."

There were also moments of anxiety, sorry for the blown word?

"Obviously. To live an artist's life - one day you are up, one day down, and everything is very turbulent. It is not a natural thing, but at the same time there is a lot of blessing, and it is very exciting. You meet people, and receive reactions and hugs, and in the end In fact, as we talk around us, people would dream of being where I am, so along with that, it fills me with a lot of gratitude and a lot of joy. Very, very simple, it's some kind of eye gaze that gives you a grip on Matzi

This year, you joined De Wise as a mentor alongside Shlomi Shabbat and shared a chair. As a challenger, you have experienced a lot of stress and difficulties. How did you as a mentor help those challengers to overcome these difficulties?

"I think unlike all the other judges, when I sit there and watch this tremor the contestants have in their eyes, I know exactly where it comes from and I also felt when I sat there in a chair that I could give them what I was missing in those moments. It's very, very simple An eye look that gives you a grip on reality for a moment, because this situation is very stressful. You have to pour all your character and all your talent and uniqueness into a minute and a half of a song. It's not a simple situation. "

On the radio overseas, only women are heard. Also on the parade are only women: Adele, Ariana Grande, Rihanna, Beyonce, etc., etc. And in Israel this is not so.

"I know, I have some kind of inside feeling that we are the one with the face in the direction of change. I mean, if we sit here for another decade and say the next decade, then the picture will be really different. That's my personal feeling."

Why?

"Because I feel that there is more courage and more room for this thing called a woman who comes and creates and makes her voice, and slowly it happens. And we as the country's creators need to form more and hold hands and I really hope that eventually it will completely balance. Because we have a lot to say ".

The social network has helped you greatly to progress and reach your status. What can you say to young people who want to break into this era today?

"I think because we are in an age that has a lot of everything in it, so my advice could be that a person who wants to float over this sea should be very precise and refined what he wants to say. It will be clear and unambiguous about some things."

What's your professional dream?

"Basically reach as many people as possible. Write to artists and develop and perform on big stages, but in the end - stay on the ground."

I mean, abroad is not an option?

"Why not?"

Because you didn't say.

"I don't have any checklist that I need to mark there."

And after "My Mika" in the theater, is film and television enticing you to do too?

"Whatever comes."

And what about a personal dream?

"If I tell, then it won't be personal anymore. Just, no, it's obvious, and they also know it about me, that I have a dream of getting to the family cell and kids. Also, music therapy is something that really interests me and engages me. I don't know which way but Maybe I'll do that sometime, too. "
