While a new car may be a bad economic deal, it is hard to argue about the peace of mind when buying a new car from the Nylon. But still, many people prefer a second-hand vehicle for economic reasons, or others, than a new one. Everyone with their budget, needs and preferences.

The thing is that even in this way there is a price, the search for a good used car is sometimes difficult, long and frustrating, due to the existence of many factors in the market that do not allow the normative buyer to really understand whether the vehicle in front of us is as good as the ad shows and that the man in front of him is a decent seller.

Random wandering around the various billboards, especially on social networks and sales sites reveals a worrying picture of the state of Israel - it turns out that we are in the midst of a huge wave of immigration, as many sell the vehicle because they leave the country, or at least they tell us. The remaining? Most of them sell their battered scoundrels because they got a car from work. Sometimes it's funny that this one who sells a 20-year-old villain breaks up because he got a car from work. That is, until now, he traveled with the scrap to Intel / Google / IBM - and only now, with the upgrade on the job, has he got a close car. Congratulations ...

These are five rules of thumb that will help you sift through the scams of used car sales very quickly.

No image in ad? There seems to be a good reason for that

1. Identify the seller number

Make good use of free programming like Truecaller, Me, Google and more - you will be surprised how much information you can find about the advertiser just by searching by phone number, locating his name by phone number and more. You will know exactly how many cars he sells as a "private person" and what else he offers. Did you find out that this exact name / phone also appears in publications of help with getting loans in checks, construction and renovations, selling cell phones, reading chalk oil and other occupations? It's time to move on to the next ad, no matter how tempting the vehicle is.

2. Pike News on social networks

On social networks - an ad with no image, no detail, plus "price in private" - browse on. It is also not interesting if the 2008 Toyota Landcruiser is hiding under NIS 20,000 below the price tag. It's not real. Try to find out details about the advertiser's helper. A buddy list that also has similar profiles? Too old a posting date without too much activity on the page or too new with too much content to light a red light.

Lack of material details, apparently also lacking in good faith in the sale

3. What does the missing individual hide?

On the web sale sites, ads without the previous owner number, ad without mileage, or ads with no image - browse on. Too bad for your time. If the seller didn't really care about omitting these details I conclude there is a high hand (otherwise what's the problem to note?), I conclude that the mileage is a NASA used space shuttle (otherwise what's the problem to note?), And I conclude that this is a car with a daunting external appearance (What's the problem with attaching pictures?) The general impression is that he doesn't really care about selling a car otherwise he would take the ad seriously.

Just before 2020, there is no reason in the world that someone cannot attach a picture to their sales ad, and if he is a technopub, ask for help from a friend.

4. Small lot, big crook?

The small lot owners will forgive me for the inclusion I will make now, the small portion I know personally, and I would not hesitate to purchase a vehicle from them, and their handshake is as high-quality as a bank chic. But if it is not someone you know personally or recommended by a friend, the rest will also lie to you about the date and the air you are breathing.

Generally, importers and leasing companies will not want to deal with 'broken' cars. Targeting cars with severe engine / chalk / chassis problems. These cars will go 'by weight' for small lots, where the 'improvement' will go mostly to eliminate the faults in the vehicle with minimal money and sell you the overpriced bonboniere. It's not that the big plots can't fall, (which certainly happens), but the big companies have 'dad and mom'.

5. The 'cheap' rule

My maternal grandmother used to tell me that "free cheese is only in a mouse trap", my other grandmother used to say that "cheap and zuglovek - both start in 7th and both get sausage" - expensive skiers - no presents. If it's too cheap - it's suspicious. Now tell me that all we need the crook who wants to give us the villain he has to do is raise the price and we won't know. Sure, you're right, but here's another sieve.

In conclusion

As Israelis, we take care not to leave suckers. We will buy a car with a fault, at a lower cost than the price, and tell all the guys what a bomb deal we did. We will not tell them how much money we will spend afterwards to repair the mishaps. I personally prefer to pay over the price list to someone who kept his vehicle, presented me with a treatment history and a full insurance form, which is a sign that the vehicle will be maintained at a high level. Tell the guys which cannon dealer, my recommendation?
