Siri is Apple's virtual assistant, operating across all of the company's products, including iPhones, iPads and computers. The assistant draws the data from the Wikipedia repository called "Wiki-Data", a global, multilingual repository of structured and linked data. The repository is designed so that services like Siri can work with the content more easily. "Don't know whether to cry or laugh, the result of 'reindeer' looking for Siri," wrote one of the surfers, followed by other surfers who received the same result.
